Hello page visitors. I am Rachel Storer, a research scientist with UCLA JIFRESSE at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA. My research focus is currently on using satellite data and cloud resolving models to learn about deep convection.  More broadly I am interested in fundamental questions surrounding clouds and convection, from convective initiation to microphysics, dynamics, and organization.  This page is currently a work in progress, but feel free to take a look at my CV, browse a few of my favorite cloud photos, or email me with any questions.
